Mawlid al-Nabi in 2016 is on Monday, the 12th of December.
Note that in the Muslim calander, a holiday begins on the sunset of the previous day, so observing Muslims will celebrate Mawlid al-Nabi on the sunset of Sunday, the 11th of December.
The Prophet’s birthday is a moment to rededicate ourselves to the ideals for which he lived his life.
He gave us the message of compassion towards all fellow beings.
May His enlightened message, guide us on the path of Peace, Goodwill & Harmony.
